Project Shakti

The loss of a husband often leaves a woman carrying far more than grief. Overnight, she becomes the sole provider, caregiver, and source of strength for her children. For many widows living in underserved communities, every day becomes a struggle to provide food, continue their children's education, and secure a dignified future.

Project Shakti is an initiative by We Care Welfare Trust dedicated to supporting widowed women and their families with compassion, dignity, and long-term care.

We believe that when a woman is empowered, an entire family becomes stronger. Through this project, we provide essential ration support, educational assistance for children, and guidance to help families rebuild their lives with confidence and hope.

Our goal is not only to provide immediate relief but also to ensure that no child is forced to leave school and no mother feels alone in her journey toward a better future.

Our Focus Areas

• Food & Nutrition Support
  Providing monthly ration kits to ensure families have access to essential food supplies and can live with dignity.

  Supporting children's education by providing school bags, books, uniforms, stationery, and other learning essentials so that financial hardship never becomes a barrier to learning.
