As we all know, our country, India, is one of the youngest countries in the world. Youth constitutes a major part of the labor force of our country; despite this fact, the number of underprivileged youth in India who lack education and proper guidance is so huge that according to the reports of the Financial Express, “Only 15% of the young graduates passing out of colleges are employable; the rest are branded ‘unemployable’.”
It is not that they lack theoretical knowledge but instead it is the lack of right skills and attitude; therefore, there is an increasing concern among the leading employers of the country about the dearth of ready-to-deliver employees.
At WE CARE WELFARE TRUST, our aim is to impart education and training to children, youth, and women so that they can live a self-reliant life of dignity and respect. With this in mind, we have set up several vocational training programs across all our projects. This program trains the urban underprivileged adolescent youth in English Proficiency, Basic Computer Education, and Soft Skills for enhancing their prospects of employment in the fast-expanding retail, hospitality, and BPO sectors.
