In a country of rapidly increasing elder population and subsequent growing concerns to ensure that their later years are lived with economic & social security and dignity, we start tracking senior citizens who are not supported by their families and who have worked hard all their lives but did not have any pension facility, and provide monetary support to them. Currently Under this program we are assisting 14 senior citizens. In the near future we are planning to build a retirement homes for the elderly people who are alone, face health problems, depression and loneliness.
In India the number of elderly women is more than that of elderly men. Nearly three out of five single older women are very poor, and two out of three rural elderly women are fully dependent on others for want of appropriate livelihood opportunities towards economic security
We thrives to builds upon innovative pilot projects and strategic partnerships to extend a helping hand and to protect the rights of India’s elderly and provide relief to them through various interventions. In India old age home or you can say retiring home is now became a very familiar concept. But it has also greener and darker side of life. Some people stays here with deep pain, and some people stays with a easy way settling their last stage of life .But we cannot ignore the fact that old age homes are giving shelter to those who is homeless or who is orphan even after having a home. Having an every possible, reasonable, practical perception on this matter we the people of Care INDIA Welfare Trust has running this program on the discussed topic widely across the country. What we want to mention is your little harmless help (in the form of money or free service) can brighten their autumn.
Along with our efforts to change culture and attitude, WE CARE WELFARE TRUST seeks to empower individual widows to become economically self-sufficient, setting them up with equipment, support, skills training, and advice. we have helped over 200 impoverished widows.
For instance, According to the 1991 Government census, India has the largest number of widows in the world, numbering 33 million. In India, widows are often viewed as the cursed and inauspicious. They are stigmatized, abused, and driven out of their homes WE CARE WELFARE TRUST latest empowerment programe aims to provide vocational training in tailoring to more than 500 widows in Delhi & NCR region over the course of two months. At the end of the training, we will provide each beneficiary with a foot-operated Singer sewing machine, which will allow them to start their own business or work in a factory to earn money, and thus become self-reliant. This socio-economic project will not only help , but will also support 50,000 children and their family members. Often illiterate, the widows themselves are unable to access justice systems. Their lives are determined by discriminatory interpretations of customs and religions. They are consistently denied inheritance and land rights. Begging, or near slavery in domestic, agricultural and sex work are an inherent part of their condition.
Widows, instead of being seen as passive victims of gender-based violence, should be recognized for their vital roles as the primary caregivers, key contributors to their family’s economic health, and agents of change in altering the face and fortunes of their families. WE CARE WELFARE TRUST has been advocating and campaigning for widow’s rights for entitlements and dignity.
We all know the popular saying “Health is Wealth”. By health we do not mean the absence of physical troubles only. But it is a state of complete physical;, mental and social well-being. The loss of health is loss of all happiness. India has made rapid strides in the health sector since independence. However, various eye opening data from NFHS clearly indicate that access to healthcare still remains a challenge. While the health statistics of rural India continue to be poor, the health status and access to health for the poor in urban slum dwellers has surfaced to be equally deplorable and have less than 4% of government primary healthcare facilities.
Urban slum residents suffers from various health conditions owing to mainly two reasons –first the lack of education and thus lack of awareness; and second the unwillingness to lose

Education is the only solution to almost every problem of today’s life. But unfortunately in India, we still have uneducated people. For some unveiled reasons, they are deprived from the light of education. Knowing the fact , how necessary it is to educate the girls in our country. Despite this fact since ages, females in our nation have been suffering from various discriminations (for example, dowry pratha, domestic violence etc). Somehow they have not been able to have upper hand in their lives & decisions due to lack of knowledge. Therefore we started our program and associated trained faculty with us to educate Girl child.
Children’s Tutorial Centre: Our Young Urns receive academic support through a 1-2 hour class conducted before or after school hours called the Academic Support Classes.
